Going to the gym can be daunting and intimidating. I know for me I didn’t know what exercises to do when I first started, in order to get the results I wanted. I turned to Katie for help. She was so happy, motivating, positive and also knowledgeable. She knew how to help me achieve my goals. I keep setting new goals, and I keep going to Katie for help. She has helped me tremendously. I really encourage others who need a little help, or a lot of help, to call Katie. – J. M.
As a mother of three, I understand the frustration that comes from hauling extra pounds around after having children. I had almost given up on having a skinny figure again. When I was diagnosed with high blood pressure due to extra weight, the doctor instructed me to lose between 7-13lbs so that I would not have to be put on BP medication. I have always been physically active and even at the time was running 3 miles a day. I needed more. I knew Katie from high school and knew that she was a personal trainer. I contacted her and she wrote me a workout that I began to follow to a T. I live in Africa and she is in Italy, so the responsibility was on me to stick with it. I loved her workouts and after 5 months I lost 25lbs, 3 inches off my bust and 4 inches off my waist. I feel amazing and am training for a half marathon. Because of Katie’s motivation and encouragement I was able to lose the weight and feel the best I have felt since high school! – J.H.
Katie Roy has definitely changed my view on fitness and healthy eating habits. I used to be a active person growing up—competitive cheerleader in high school, worked out constantly in college and was a blue belt in Taekwondo—but somewhere along the way I became lazy and eventually stopped working out altogether. Once out of the habit, it was hard to motivate myself to get back in the gym. I sought Katie’s advice regarding a workout and a diet plan at the beginning of 2010, because I was getting married and wanted to look good for my wedding. With her help I have healthier eating habits, I have lost 10+ lbs and several inches, and my muscular strength and endurance have improved. I have more confidence in how I look and all my clothes fit better or are even too big. Seeing these results helps push me to continue to work out so that I can be in the best shape of my life!
Katie is a great motivator and friend and I’m very grateful that she has shown me the lasting benefits to working out and eating healthy. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a trainer! – K.H.
I started working out with Katie in May of 2011. It was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself and my health. Katie’s bubbly personality and positive attitude were an immediate encouragement to me. I was intimidated at first to work with a trainer, but even during our first session I knew I had made the right choice. Katie has continually encouraged me and pushed me to break out of my comfort zone, even when I didn’t think I could do it. I leave each session feeling stronger and better about myself. I have been able to accomplish things that I didn’t think I was even capable of doing. I feel stronger, leaner and more powerful, physically and mentally, since I started training with Katie. Investing in a trainer is a commitment of time and money. I definitely feel that with Katie, that commitment was returned to me tenfold with her desire to see me succeed and do everything in her power to help me accomplish my goals. – A.S.
